One hard grade serving two production lines, and ST2750 has to balance adhesion in both the adhesive and the render.
ST2750 is a hard VAE powder with a minimum film forming temperature of 3 °C, used where a plant makes tile adhesive and cement-lime render on the same site.
In a tile adhesive the powder secures the bond at the interface and supports the ribs. Hardness helps both, because a stiff mortar holds its notch and resists slip.
Dosage usually sits at 1 to 2.5 percent, lower than a flexible ETICS adhesive because the substrate is stable and the tile is not exposed to impact.
In a cement-lime render the powder improves adhesion to masonry and reduces the dusting that lime-rich mixes can show at the surface.
Render dosage is often similar to adhesive dosage, which is what makes the dual use practical for a plant with one silo.
The compromise appears in water demand and workability rather than in strength. A mix that trowels well as an adhesive may be slightly stiff as a render.
Adjust the ether and the filler rather than the binder when moving between products, and keep the binder constant across the two lines.
The grade this note is about, and two that sit next to it in the range.
Send the mortar system, the grade you are considering and the volume you plan for. The reply comes back with a dosage recommendation and a quotation.
